Summer Science Montessori Explorations Camp
We offer six weeks of Summer Science enrichment and advancement courses starting the last full week in June. Students engage in a dynamic environment that includes weekly field trips and swimming pool fun. Students continue learning after the school year has ended and proactively prepare academically for the next coming school year. Reducing like this the detrimental academic summer school gap.
Enrichment Courses
Entrepreneurship, Oratory-The Art of Public Speaking, Robotics engineering, Minecraft coding and arquitectural designs, Drama-Movie Club, ping pong, Yoga-Mindfulness, Music: Suzuki Violin, Piano, voice training, Dance: contemporary, ballroom, hip-pop, and Samba. Art: drawing, painting, and papier-mache models.
Advancement Course
High level writing program: close reading and comprehension, academic essay writing, and proper bibliography MLA citations.
High level Math: geometry, algebra, pre-trigonometry, and word problems strategy drills.
Biology, chemistry, social studies, world geography, and world cultures and traditions are part of the daily learning.
Recess games include Hula hoops, jumping ropes, hopscotch, bean bag balancing and tossing, flag tag, and dodgeball.
